Great for those with trouble sleeping.

I have always been a night owl. Even when I was younger, I'd often stay up until 3-4AM in the morning. Now as a working adult, this habit really affects my daily life. I don't like to take sleeping aids, as they leave me groggy in the morning. I am so glad I came across this book. I'm not really one for meditation in general, but when used for sleeping, I am surprised by how well it worked. This guide gave me the basics of what to do to actually meditate, and now I find myself being able to sleep early, for the first time. I definitely recommend this book if you have trouble sleeping

Perfect book for the first timers

What a perfect way to get started into the wonderful world of meditation. Now I consider my self a someone who is between a newbie and at an intermediate. After all, I've been meditating somewhat regularly for 2 years now (15-20 mins a day). After going through this book, I can assure you that Diane (Author) really did a great job in helping the beginners understand what meditation is and how it can help you out. If you want to control stress and improve other areas of your life dramatically, and have been on the fence with this whole 'mediation thing', you need to read this book. I was looking to know more about meditation as my life has been a little hectic lately. This book gives you more information and history about meditation. It also provides the types of meditation where you can choose which one is right for you. It also gives you the basic steps in meditation. It details the benefits of doing meditation on a regular basis, which includes sleeping better and reducing stress. A great read for meditation beginners.
