    I am a Resilience expert with a passion for health and fitness - both physical and mental. This includes a big interest in Personal Resilience, which is our ability to positively adapt to adverse situations. While working in Resilience, it became clear to me just how crucial the techniques of Personal Resilience are in building our ability to stay consistent and reach goals.     Great Book, so much info!

    The Think Lean Method provides a solid foundation for a healthy and happy life. It has opened my eyes to a whole new perspective on nutrition! I've learned so many things I did not know before. For example, I never knew that carbohydrates were not essential for survival! I've never thought about our ancestors' diet, but reading this book opened my eyes up to just how different things are these days for humans, and how biologically, we were never meant to eat certain foods that we eat today (especially the quantity of these foods). I really appreciate how the author goes into specific details about every topic, like various deficiency symptoms related to vitamin and mineral deficiencies. I LOVE the "Think Lean Food Pyramid" and I was so delighted to see that there were no grains included in this. I've always thought it was strange that here in the U.S., they recommend 6-12 servings of grains a day!

    The Think Lean Method includes informative tips on exercising, and how to achieve a fit and toned body. They even include a exercise chart with different exercises and how often to do these to achieve a certain type of look. I've never had so much useful information in one place! This book gives you the motivation to add new healthy habits without quitting or giving up. I've tried so many diets in the past, and I can barely make it a week or two. The Think Lean Method made me realize I wasn't giving my body what it needed, and that once I got the necessary nutrients, exercise and elimination of toxic habits, that I could consistently stick to a healthy lifestyle, without even having to think about it! It helped me sit down and make a timeline of when I would meet my goals. I felt like I had a personal health coach with me the whole time!

    I've been having trouble with my short term memory lately, and just by applying a few simple tips from this book, my memory has already improved. The Think Lean Method provides awesome recipes that will keep you full and satisfied. They even have meal plans for you, which takes away a bit of the stress of planning meals at the beginning! I love the Salmon Eggs Benedict recipe- it even tells you how to poach an egg, which I've always wanted to do! :)

    I absolutely love the breakdown of vitamins and what foods they are in, as well as signs and symptoms of deficiencies and overdoses. I've always been the type to randomly buy vitamins just because I thought I needed them, but after reading this, I realized that I'm already getting plenty of them through my diet. I also realized that I had some symptoms of deficiencies, so I started supplementing with the ones I thought I was lacking, and I am feeling much better. The author goes into such great detail about vitamins and minerals, and I can tell that a lot of knowledge and research was put into this book.

    I've learned so many things that I've never even thought of before, which is surprising to me, considering I am constantly reading online articles about health. The Think Lean Method really makes you think about your current lifestyle choices regarding sleep, diet and exercise. I think it's important to be educated about your body, especially if you plan to get it in great shape and keep it that way! The Think Lean Method is an all in one package to get you healthier, smarter, and happier!

    Fantastic fact-based healthy-living method!

    I love that that everything in the book is fact-based and focused on peer-review research.
    It explains very well what food is good for you and what isn't and of course it explains why. The recipes at the end of the book are a great way to start your lean healthy diet without spending a great deal of time in the kitchen.
    But it is not just about food. The author explains very well how to develop a goal and how to achieve it and how to train your brain. Fantastic!

    Almond pancakes, anyone?!

    The Think Lean Method is the most thorough approach to nutrition that I have ever seen. You are not getting your standard "eat less, exercise more" weight loss program here. Instead, the Think Lean Method is a comprehensive approach to all aspects of nutrition, including physical fitness, and more importantly, psychological fitness. Most nutrition programs ignore the psychological role that food plays in our lives.
