I Can't Figure This Out

Yes, it's good that we're still supposed to fight the patriarchy....but only if we have her idea of the 'right figure'. And we're not going to be real feminists unless we look hot and cute now. This completely misses the whole point of patriarchy--being a object for men. I like being healthy and eating well (never smoke/drink, do not eat most kinds of meat). Instead of exercising primarily to appease others, do it to make yourself happier and healthier. Not only will you have an easier time sticking to whatever workout plan you decide to develop, but you will also feel better about yourself and your body. And loving whatever body shape/size you are supposed to be is an important message for women.

This book was very informative and a good perspective on female bodybuilding. As a new competitor, I was very inspired by this book and it opened my eyes to some new ideas regarding feminism.
