excellent intro to yoga

This book is an excellent introduction to yoga and also uses pictures of the various poses that make it easier to mimic and quickly implement. The sections are also divided very effectively, making everything easy to find. I have stopped yoga since moving to Japan, but I realize that I don't need to take a class in order to practice it, which led me to searching for information - and the search led me to this book. A great deal and will satisfy the urge of those curious about starting up yoga and improving their physical, mental, and spiritual development.

I really thought this Yoga thing was just a fad ...

I really thought this Yoga thing was just a fad that would soon pass. But after getting Sophia's book, she has opened my eyes to how these exercises can really change my life. While I was just desiring stress relief, I quickly saw how applying these techniques could even help me to lose some weight. Wow! I have been shocked at the results just from using this book.
