Helping a friend manage ADHD

I have a friend at work that suffers from ADHD and this book has a chapter on the workplace so I figured it would help me help her, and it did. It offers several tips and suggestions to help manage the disability and live a happier life.

The tip about the "do not disturb sign" would make a great gift idea for the gal at work. It's a handy guide that is easy to read, the information was right to the point and it even mentioned some web sites for additional resources.

This book was exactly what I was looking for! I read it in one day, because I had a challenge to focus on certain things lately. A friend of mine has adult adhd, so I wanted to know if thats the case for me as well. This guide explains the symptoms of adult adhd very well, so that you get a clue if you have it or not. Furthermore the author provides valuable advice on how to deal with adult adhd. What I liked most were the little summaries at the end of each chapter.

The book provides a good understanding of ADHD. My mother is suffering from the issue since last 1 year and it encouraged me to purchase this book. It’s a very nice guide to ADHD and it tells how to manage it effectively. It’s highly recommended from my side.
