It seems this booklet is mostly on "bugging in"

I purchased this survival guide to help me gather information on winter survival gear and techniques. It could have been titled "Surviving a blizzard in your own home." For that purpose, five stars! I'll break down the twelve pages here:

There is some good information on cold weather survival, but I thought there there should be more on outdoor survival: making fire, shelter, first aid. The pamphlet mentions hypothermia three or four times, but only addresses one paragraph each to it and frostbite.
In short, a good guide for surviving a blizzard indoors, not great for outdoor wilderness survival.
