Wonderful book for any expecting, new, or experienced mother

This book is truly wonderful for any soon-to-be, new, or experienced mom—especially those dealing with anxiety. I read it in my first few months postpartum and found it absolutely invaluable for my mood and spirit. Julia Aziz is consistently uplifting, inspiring, and down-to-earth. If you're someone who gets a little stressed reading parenting books, don't be deterred. This is a great, completely relatable piece that doesn't offer any annoying advice. Instead, Julia Aziz guides you gently through the common struggles of labor and motherhood and offers compassion, insight, and—most importantly—perspective.
I don't often cry when I read books, but this one was a tear-jerker for me. I also highlighted nearly every paragraph! I wish I'd found it sooner in my postpartum journey.

really beautiful! I loved reading this gem

I was so moved and inspired by Julia's story! I couldn't stop reading! I hadn't planned on finishing it so quickly but I simply could not stop reading. Her writing is so authentic, vulnerable and strong... all within a compelling story, one that you want to just devour. It is really, really beautiful! I loved reading this gem!

I think it is a story that fills a void in terms of what is out there for mothers. It is personal, honest, real, intelligent, thought-provoking, and frankly, I think it will be very influential. I highly recommend it and will be sure to recommend it to my clients and friends.
