I have just recently finished the book joyful living and thoroughly enjoyed it. Itis an excellent reminder that we must choose Joy every Day and reminded me of how much I have too be thankful for. Thank u Sarah for sharing from the heart it blessed me completely and lifted me up. I can't wait too continue reading this devotional series. Patty Warner
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of Sarah's books along with the art work and scriptural journey that each reading takes me on. I love joyful living best so far. It reminds me of the little things I can do to give God the Glory in each day and keep my mind on what is of God, not of Man. Sarah has been given a gift to listen to God's guidance and reach out to people through little tid bits of spiritual food in her readings, that allow the reader to develop a deeper, trusting love relationship with our God and Savior! Thank you Sarah for pushing through your storms to follow God's will for you as an author!!!! Love reading from God's word and having a devotional read next to it with daily reference to the biblical word. A devotional to refocus our minds and hearts on Christ

This sweet devotional is a breath of fresh air, and yes, joy! Each day's message is broken into three parts: the verse of the day, ways to live it out, and pray it through. Scriptures are included on each day to focus the heart and mind not on our circumstances, but the nature of God and how He Himself is the source of true and lasting joy. The devotions are a quick way to focus on Christ as we start the day, or even when the cares of this world take our eyes off of Him. I especially loved praying with Sarah to calm my heart- Day 13's heart meditation is worth the price of the whole book. I didn't realize how much I needed these constant reminders as a busy wife and mom, but it's been a balm to my soul. I did receive a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are completely mine- I would have bought this book anyway!

we're so easily jaded.

Time for honesty here. I thought the title sounded a little rote......ouch, we're so easily jaded.....but the introduction was enticing. Having just heard from an old friend and hearing of her marital struggles, I read Joyful Living with the same question many people will have, "Yes, Sarah but what about.................?" Her argument for joyful living in a troubled world is unshakeable and waterproof. My favorite quotation that she included was by A.W. Tozer. "The Christian owes it to the world to be supernaturally joyful." He and Sarah are not saying we should ACT out the part but BECOME one who experiences Joyful Living. Amen
